Firstly, thanks for your interest in opening a store with us! OZ Handmade is always seeking stores to add to our lineup - particularly those with unique and different items that are not already being sold on the site. To apply to open a store, please email Michelle on ozhandmade@gmail.com with the following information:
* Name of Store (please also attach your store's logo image to the email if you have one) * Description/background of Store (for an 'About Me' page)
* A list of goods that you sell, or intend to sell
* Links to any of your existing storefronts (eBay, Etsy etc.)
* Any further information you wish to tell us :)
You should receive a response within 24-48 hours.
What are the advantages of operating my own store on OZ Handmade?
Goodness.. where do I begin?
Operating a store on OZ Handmade gives you absolute control over all of your listings. You can list as few or as many items as you like, in either previewing (non-purchasable), auction or fixed price format. Stock quantities can be altered at any time, custom options can be added to each item (e.g. colour selection, adding features/trimmings), and you can access full sales reports for your store at any time.
The advantage to customers is that they can purchase items from any of the stores on OZ Handmade, and yet they only have to pay a single invoice regardless of the amount of stores they have purchased goods from in that session (the money automatically divides up and goes to the individual stores).
Lastly (and perhaps most importantly), OZ Handmade only charges a low, flat-rate monthly fee to host your store - there are NO LISTING CHARGES!

Can I sell my goods on OZ Handmade without running a full store?
From time to time OZ Handmade will purchase items on a wholesale basis to fill any gaps in what is already being offered on the site. While we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to commit to a wholesale agreement with you, you are more than welcome to email ozhandmade@gmail.com with your proposal for consideration.
Even if your offer is not accepted immediately, we may wish to purchase from you in future :)
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping will vary dependent on the seller. Some sellers include the cost of postage in their item price, some have a fixed rate, and others will calculate it based on the size and weight of an item.
The easiest way to determine postage is to add the items you want to your cart and proceed through the first few steps of the checkout process (prior to the payment section). This will give you a postage quote. If you have any queries about the cost of postage please contact the sellers directly.
How long will my items take to arrive?
Again, this is dependent on the individual stores you have purchased goods from. Some items are custom-made to order and as a result will take longer to deliver (generally 2-4 weeks unless otherwise specified by the seller). Others may be posted from regional and remote areas of Australia.
Items sold directly by OZ Handmade are posted from regional Victoria and can take up to 2 weeks for delivery unless otherwise specified.
Do you ship Internationally?
Not at this stage, however we may look at implementing this service in the future.
If there is an item that you desperately want posted overseas, please contact that seller directly and they may be willing to make a mutual arrangement with you.
