Old Mother Hubbard is an ever evolving labour of love. Old Mother Hubbard began when Mrs Hubbard herself decided to start knitting slipper socks in various shades of pretty pink only to remember that she had only grandsons (who, although thoroughly against gender bias - steadfastly refused to wear pink slippers with fluffy pink feather detail) and therefore had to come up with another plan that would allow her to knit in all the colours of the rainbow. Once the realisation that her plan to open a store was indeed a good one, Mrs Hubbard quickly extended her range to include the delightful dolls she never expected to be allowed to make (negotiations with her daughter for a third grandchild were unsuccessful) and once she started making these dolls, well, she found she couldn't stop! Of course, she added some little boys dolls to her range! It is hard to decide which part of doll making Mrs Hubbard enjoys most, the making of the dolls or posing them around her garden to take the website photos! With summer just around the corner Mrs Hubbard has decided to add a range of sundresses to her store, no doubt providing her with hours of enjoyment! So there you have it, Old Mother Hubbard is not only a store, but a labour of love and an outlet for a very crafty Nana. Mrs Hubbard intends on extending her range in the near future, so keep checking back to see what she has to offer!

Handmade is something I’ve been doing for many years, and I enjoy a mixture of crafts which include, Sewing, Quilting, ceramics, decorative Painting & Stamping. Once a week I conduct a “Craft Group” where we have great fun while learning lots from each other, so there’s always something new on the go. My intention is to include all these crafts in the shop, which will take time so hope you will browse often to see what’s new.

I became obsessed with this when I discovered modern cloth nappies and started to knit my daughter some cute and funky babywear.
I love having my hands in the dye pot; throwing in colours and pulling out the magical results!

Minkie Baby is a one-woman show operating out of a living room in Chatswood, Sydney. Leigh Davenport Jurd is a wife and mother of one small son who loves creating and designing. Graduating from UNSW's College of Fine Art in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Art, Leigh spent a few years exhibiting before falling pregnant with her son.
Before Oliver was born, Leigh decided on cloth nappies and spent her pregnancy sewing. She has since refined her design to the current trim, quick-drying design. Finding it difficult to continue working with oil based inks and acid etching plates with a toddler underfoot, and becoming increasingly inundated with requests to make nappies for other children, she decided to start Minkie Baby in late 2008.
Cute to look at and beautifully soft to touch. Easy to use and launder. Environmentally friendly. Available in ready-to-wear Fleece and Minky outers, or order your own custom combination.
Also available are additional bamboo boosters for heavy wetters, and breastpads for mum. And keep your eyes peeled in the not-to-distant future will be mei-tai style baby carriers.

We were workmates and partners in crime in the beginning but now we're friends and well still partners in crime. I'm Jodes a mum to little ones who usually comes up with these hairbrain ideas and Chris a mum to big ones is the brains and voices of reason in the outfit......the older, wiser one :) who nuts things out and puts ideas to fabric!
We're suckers for nice fabrics and have recently become addicted to knitting.
We particularly sell the Clean and Cosy Shopping Trolley Capsule Cover, handmade aprons for adults and children, fabric grab bags and other special creations from time to time including the Vanilla Soakers and Looking Glass Longies for which we hold a cottage licence and stitch markers for knitting.

Hi, I'm Tracey Beaumont a work at home mum to two wonderful boys.
I started out my online store as TBcards in 2007 to offer high quality professional cards at affordable prices. A few years on and after the birth of my second son I discovered new ideas and much less time. So I have now launched Blueberry Hen.
What is Blueberry Hen?
Blueberry Hen is where I will sell handmade knitting and offer my design services.
I will be knitting baby cocoons or sleeping sacks as my husband calls them and dishcloths. I will continue my logo design work and greeting cards will still be stocked until sold out.
As of March 2010 I will only be using Australian Wool and Cotton. If anything else is used it will be mentioned in the listing, this will occassionally be the case with cotton dishcloths.
